OK then, I think everyone should have a nickname at school or, probably, workplace or within a certain group in the community. So! This month's topic is on everyone's nickname and how your nickname is concieved by others or even yourself.

MY nickname is "salted fish" 鹽魚
This is because the pronounciation of my name in Mandarin is 韓钰(sorry, for this character, I can't type its traditional form), and the pronounciation of 鹽魚 in Cantonese is quite similar to my name's mandarin pronounciation.

韓钰 in Pinyin is "HAN YU"
鹽魚 in Cantonese phonetics is "Haam Yu"

Can ya see the similarity between them???

Therefore, my nickname was born... =.=|||

e.g Some one called "PIGGY, because he really looks like a piggy like this--->... (爽)
